Lenovo is going to launch the ThinkPad W700ds dual-screen laptop, with a 17-in. primary and a 10.6-in. secondary screen. Do you think you will get that, I can guess that must be a heavy laptop.

I wouldn't buy it for personal use that's for sure. I can see it being useful for some work applications though.

meh i think right now its more of "look what i can do" rather than something better than other laptops

but in the future when its like piece of glass that you can pull out from the side it will be cooooool

thats a neat Idea but I think it would be too heavy right now.

Since Thinkpads are highly geared towards business, this is ingenius.

A laptop that heavy begs the question: "Why?"

You know, laptops are meant to be portable. If you want something as big as a dual-screen laptop that you wouldn't be able to move around, please, don't sacrifice system power, and get a desktop for a fraction of the price.

My name is Rubius and I approve this message.

Desktop replacements. Uses less power and space. It's not meant to be hauled around, but can be if needed.

yea i can only think of it for like a work computer that you take from the office to your home....but still there are programs that just let you access all the files on your computer from anywhere in the world
