Indar and Amerish: Captured Date: 05.20.2013

images/news-pics/53_1369082277.png

We started out on Indar after waking to the TR's morning neutralization. Then we pushed into Indar from practically nothing to the warpgates. XoO held the NC at bay with a few other outfits and the rest warped the TR.

Once they was captured we headed to Amerish to take it away from the NC. Up until the last few territories it was more or less a steamroll when NC decided to put up a fight. At the pinnacle of their defense they had 48% population, however, it was too little too late.

Once the NC realized they could not hold off the VS they fell back to Esamir to fight the TR that were progressing rapidly throughout the continent.

Of course the NC folded due to the sheer numbers and prowess of the Vanu and then the VS headed to Esamire. The TR had already captured most of the continent, but the VS were pushing out and down towards the biolab which is the point where I logged off. A great many thanks to the VS and members of XoO that participated in the captures. No doubt both will be taken or neutralized by the TR's massive EU morning presence as they do their routine morning ghost captures, but all in all it was a lot of fun.

Till next time! smiling

Enlightenment Training Date: 05.14.2013
Reminding everyone to check the calendar for training sessions.

It will cover everything from infantry tactics to armor and air formations

With every lesson we will be giving out a text document with pictures and videos of everything we teach so that people will already have an understanding of most concepts before we start and so that all XoO members will have the information available to them at all times.

I'd also like to emphasize that this is NOT an "elite crew" that only the best guys can join, the keyword being "trianing". No one will come knowing everything and we're all here to learn together as a team and you can always learn more in your free time through the documents/videos released and with the AAR (after action reports)

At this time members will be given priority sign-up over xoobies and red-comms will not be alowed
Schedule:
Sunday May 12th 1pm-3pm EST
Thursday May 16th 7:30pm-9:30pm EST
(reoccurring each week unless stated otherwise)

Hope you guys sign up and attend!

VS Take Back Indar...again! Date: 05.14.2013
So this seems like a pattern. The VS faction takes Indar during primetime. 9:40PM EST to be exact, and then the TR come and ghost cap everything with their European group. But, hey it is part of the game so I can't complain, but it is always nice to give the morning TR a little extra work. wink

The always outnumbered VS will not give up without a fight. XoO has dedicated itself to kicking the TR and NC around.

On another note, XoO is still ranked #1 which is nice. We have been ranked #1 on Waterson since the outfit stats were made available a few months back. Other tough outfits are catching up and our alliance outfit SENT is kicking it up.

VS Take Back Indar Date: 05.11.2013
Fighting against heavy TR numbers the VS successfully managed to not only neutralize Indar, but capture it and defend it against attacks. Sadly the VS don't have the highest population so I am sure the TR or NC will capture it off hours, but it was a fight of epic proportions. A review and some pictures of XoO's assault will be posted. It is nice to see some of the enemy factions giving us positive feedback on our defense near the TR warpgate while TR was being neutralized.

QUOTE: At 5:30am today the TR had the VS down to just the mesa skydock and VS held the entire TR/NC army off until the saturday morning support woke up and gave us enough reinforcements to push you back to quartz ridge line..

Props to the VS. Nice hold!

Special note to Xoo. Your defense of indar bay point with squads vs the TR platoon, epic, just fantastically epic defense.

VS is the best faction on waterson hands down. I fear the day when they have even pop, the maps will all be purple.

All in all everyone had a blast and we thank everyone who participated.

I am pretty sure it is safe to say the event server is Waterson server! Nearly all the FNO events are on Waterson and all of them have massive events.

images/news-pics/49_1366469194.jpg

I'll post up a summary later if I get time.

"We had some fun fights, the NC in charge wrote me a couple of times expressing joy over us putting up such a struggle. In the end, he wrote me: hey Daibar, tell your guys.... wars over, since none of us actually completed the terms for victory, we're calling this a draw."

Hope everyone had a great time. Anyone interested in joining is welcome to apply as we are still accepting applications currently.

Here is a random video of the event.

Friday Night Operation ~ The Vanu Alliance vs. NCSO and NC ~ 4/12 Date: 04.20.2013
Here is a summary:

http://forums.station....ht-ops-episode-27.114550/

Tonight was FNO for NC Special Ops [NCSO] on Waterson. So of course we had to give them a good beating. About an hour before FNO started, NC began a push on Indar all the way up to Benson Construction, and we thought FNO would be on Amerish. Pops were about even on Indar, but we slowly began to push them out of the north and take our territory back. We eventually pushed south all the way to Hvar Tech / Sandstone Gulch Mining / Indar Bay Point, and the TR pushed west into Peris. Around this time, the FNO stream announced that NCSO would be fighting on Amerish, so we all rushed back to warpgate to redeploy.

We started out FNO with <15% continent population and didn't own much territory, but quickly started to pick up the pace as more people logged in and the TR/NC got bogged down in large fights at The Acent / Raven Landing / Auraxis Firearms / Chimney Rock Depot area. We pushed south and took Splitpeak Pass, Granite Valley Garrison, and pushed into Xelas Biolab. Very little fighting happened along the VS/TR boundary as we all pushed south to remove the NC continent lock and shame the NC on their own FNO. At one point the only base the NC still owned was Xelas, which they had fully loaded with scat maxes. The TR started to push on us as well since our pop was in the teens for percentage. We defended Granite Valley Garrison against heavy air assault from both NC and TR but eventually got pushed out of the tower by a platoon+ of TR.

Around this time the FNO fighting was cut short, NCSO didn't seem too happy with the NC in general getting steamrolled on their own FNO night, and so FNO was "changed" to a flash race around Rashnu biolab.

Since the TR decided to attack us, we weren't able to break the NC continent lock. In return, we decided to push back. We pushed straight west from our warpgate to LithCorp Secure Mine where we set up shop. We had 6-8 burster maxes at all times shooting at the TR air as they flew out of the warpgate, and later a few Lancers killing TR armor that was moving in towards us. We must have held out there for atleast 2 hours killing countless TR aircraft and armor. At one point the TR pulled about 30 1/12 gals flying overhead at once because they needed them for transport -- they lost their Tech Plant and could only pull gals from warpgate, which we kept shooting down. We eventually got pushed out by 2 platoons of TR zerging with numerous sunderers, but not after the TR had lost nearly all of their territory even with their pop even with NC.

I hope everyone else had a lot of fun tonight and hope we can have as much success next week on FNO vs NC as we did tonight!

Happy Easter! Date: 03.31.2013

Honey Badger Training Recap Date: 03.09.2013
So our 3rd installment of our Honey Badger Training went into effect. For those that do not know the difference Enlightenment Training we run is for the micro fire team elements of the game with a few macro specialties brought into play. Honey Badger Training is more macro where you learn to utilize battlefield concepts to better yourself and your squad.

After the training we went on to ROFL stomp NC on Amerish with 18% of the population. I am sure everyone had fun and we appreciate your attendance!

There will be another Honey Badger Training event scheduled so keep your eyes peeled for it!

XoO Ranked #1 Date: 03.09.2013
XoO has once again established itself as a top guild in gaming by being the #1 ranked outfit in Planetside 2 for Waterson, ranked #2 in the US and ranked #5 worldwide. Not too shabby.

Great job XoO PS2 division!

XoO Honey Badger Event & Amerish Event Date: 03.01.2013
So the NC decided to host an event to fight for Amerish with the addition of Jaeger to the Waterson server. XoO took it upon ourselves to help the VS fight off the NC and TR on Amerish. We formulated our own platoon and headed to Amerish. The fighting was tough early on with the TR and NC hitting the VS nearly to the warpgate.

images/news-pics/42_1362195587.png

However, it wasn't long before the Vanu Alliance with some new Jaeger additions joined the same voice comms and organized ourselves to assault Amerish. An hour after that and here is the result.

A huge thanks to all XoO that participated in the event. I know I took the screenshot at a weird angle and cutoff a lot of you but yeah I was leading a platoon you wankers! So in closing join XoO and kick ass as one of the best VS outfits on Waterson.
